Gas, water and electrical connections are disconnected and capped by licensed plumbers and electricians before demolition starts — cooktops, ovens, rangehoods and dishwashers are unhooked properly, not just pulled out. Stone benchtops are cut and lifted in manageable sections, cabinets are unscrewed from the wall rather than ripped off, and splashback and floor tiles are stripped with dust-controlled tile removers so the adjoining rooms stay clean.

How long does a kitchen strip out take?
Most standard kitchens are stripped in a single day, with larger or more complex kitchens taking up to two. We confirm the timeline in your quote so your kitchen company can lock in the installation date with confidence.
Do you handle the gas, water and electrical disconnections?
Yes. We coordinate licensed plumbers and electricians to disconnect and cap gas, water and electrical connections before any demolition starts, and every capped point is left labelled for the trades fitting your new kitchen. Nothing is pulled out live.
What happens to the old appliances and cabinets?
We remove all built-in appliances — ovens, cooktops, rangehoods and dishwashers — along with the cabinetry and benchtops. Metals and appliances go to recycling, timber and board are sorted separately, and the balance goes to licensed waste facilities. Disposal is included in your quote.
How do you protect the rest of the house?
We seal the kitchen off with dust barriers, run floor protection along the carry-out path and use dust-controlled equipment for tile removal. Adjoining living areas stay usable during the work, and we clean the access path as part of the handover.
Can you strip the bathroom or laundry at the same time?
