We flag likely locations at the inspection and, if suspect material is found, arrange testing and removal through licensed asbestos removalists in accordance with SafeWork NSW requirements before stripping continues. Can you hand over directly to my builder?
Yes — that handover is the whole point of the service. Do I need council approval to strip out my house?
Internal, non-structural strip out work generally does not need council approval in NSW. If your renovation includes structural changes — removing load-bearing walls or altering the roof — those works may need a CDC or DA and an engineer’s design, which a private certifier can confirm. We strip around structural elements and coordinate with your engineer for anything beyond the non-structural scope.
